On a magnificent September morning...
A perfect day for flying.
Climbing skyward to rescue innocents trapped by smoke and flame,
He was cleared direct.
To a place of eternal honor.
. . .
The bustle of departure is over.
We reach cruising altitude and set the power and trim.
Finally, there arrives that serene moment when we're free,
To revel in sky above and Earth below.
Just then, we sense his presence.
